A Light That Never Goes Out

She drops her bag on the ground and leans against the cold brick wall of the pub.

‘Is she here, then?’

Eddie nods.

‘Has she spoken to you?’

‘Aside from when she asked me for a beer, no.’

Michaela rolls her eyes. ‘For God’s sake. So, it’s my job to get a laugh out of her?’

‘No,’ Eddie says, ‘Just to get to the root of whatever’s making her a total misery and pull it out.’

In 1960s London, Michaela is fighting against all odds to make it somewhere - and she firmly believes she can do it, so long as she has her guitarist, Keira, by her side. However, when Keira comes out with something that shakes Michaela to her core, they find themselves going on a night's journey that shows them just how much their lives are intertwined.
